It’s hard to imagine that almost half of the year has gone by so fast. So far 2014 seems to have suffered from the transition to the new consoles. While there have been a few surprises (Bravely Default, South Park), there haven’t been many big triple A games to talk about. However, the year is not over and with the recent arrivals of games like TitanFall, inFamous: Second Son and Dark Souls, the rest of 2014 is looking pretty exciting. Here are my Top 10 Most Anticipated Games for the Rest of 2014:
10. The Evil Within
I’m generally not one to get scared by horror games. However, the “Horror” element has been missing for a while now. Leave it to Shinji Makami, the father of survival horror and creator of the Resident Evil series, to get me excited again. Makami’s The Evil Within looks disturbingly horrific … in a good way. From all the previews, this game looks to be a technical masterpiece. Lighting that gives off the right amount of dark that leave you not lost but wondering whats around the next corner. The enemies are relentless and powerful. Also, damage is crucial. Limbs stay hurt until they can be patched up, leaving escape difficult.
Look for this one August 26, 2014.

Walking Dead is coming to the Playstation Vita in a big way this year, with a Vita bundle including the first season of the game and the new 400 Days DLC packed in. I’m not quite sure how I feel about TellTale’s Walking Dead being on the Vita. I think I’d rather watch all the gut-wrenching action unfold on the big screen, but hey it can’t hurt. Here the teaser trailer for the upcoming DLC Walking Dead: 400 Days.
