Mortal Kombat X Story Trailer

I’m a big fan of the stories in the Mortal Kombat series. Mostly because as a fighting game they actually try. What intrigues me the most is the fact that this game takes place 25 years after the last one.

Looking at this trailer, there is a whole new set of  characters at play and a few returning that raise some questions. Mortal Kombat is definitely a game to looking forward to. Especially considering I’m not a hardcore fighting game fan, the story something that has me interested.

Square Enix Announces Dissidia Final Fantasy For Japanese Arcades

A new game in the Dissidia Final Fantasy franchise is coming to Japanese arcades. The series is best known for bringing together heroes and villains from all over the Final Fantasy franchise and being primarily on the PSP.

The new game brings updated graphics and a new 3 v 3 battle system. The trailer also shows off new character Y’Shtola from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. So there might be some more new characters coming.

Usually with Japanese arcades releases, more than likely they come to consoles. Best bet is a PS4 or PS Vita release or both. Square Enix is expected to reveal more April 10th.

Persona 5 Drops A New Trailer And It Looks Sweet!

Looks like I’m going to have to finish up Persona 4: Golden now because this has elevated my interest in the series. I am by no means a big time Persona fan but damn this trailer looks sick. This is the first real hint of what the game is about and I’m liking the whole tone of Persona 5 with it’s thief like protagonist and characters that all seem to have dual identities. Not much is known about the main character, but he is a winner in my book already. That allure of mystery is really working for him.
